I’m kind of blatantly ripping off BBC Food’s recipe pages here, so don’t tell anyone. But that’s only because I don’t know anything about compiling recipe pages. Anyway, this is where you could have a short introduction to the recipe, like “Just because you’re avoiding dairy, doesn’t mean you don’t get the pleasure of irresistible chocolate fudge icing on your cakes”.
Cooking time: 20 to 30 minutes
Makes: Enough for a 9-inch cake
- 55g/2oz soya margarine
- 3 tbsp soya milk
- 200g/7oz icing sugar
- 30g/1oz cocoa powder
- Place the soya margarine, soya milk, icing sugar and cocoa in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.
- Stir well until the icing is smooth and glossy.
- Remove it from the heat and let it cool completely, then use to ice your cake.
